“I had work completed on my Toyota 4 Runner. One for air conditioning not working needed recharge and was done at a reasonable price. Happy with the service they provided. I had a tune up done and so far happy with the way it’s running. They guarantee they work completely if you should have to return your vehicle. “I feel for garage owners as most people walk in thinking they are about to get taken advantage of. If you are one of those skeptics this is the garage for you. On the outside it looks a little run down, but not having a fancy building at a fancy address is one of the things that helps them keep costs down. I have been taking our cars here for more than 7 years and have yet to have a bad experience. And on several occasions when OEM parts were ridiculously priced or unavailable they were able to procure reproduction parts from Ebay or even used parts from local part pick yards, saving me hundreds! They are located in the same gravel lot as BB's Lawnside BBQ. Again, don't let the outside fool you. This is a shop you can trust!”

They fixed my brakes when the Honda dealer kept putting me off and didn't charge me anything when my 'transmission problem' per an oil change establishment turned out to be a loose bolt. Great work, honest and fair prices. Amy and Larry are great.”

“I been going to Larry's Automotive for the last 4 years to have my two vehicles serviced. I own a Chevy Express Conversion Van and a Suzuki Pickup. Both vehicles now have over 100,000 miles each and developed their own unique issues over time. Larry's came as a referral to me from a friend who also used Larry's for service for years. I found Larry to be very professional and extremely knowledgeable in the operation of and issues involving my Chevy Van and the Suzuki truck. His background and experience was instrumental in figuring out any problem with my vehicles. He diagnosed and fixed issues concerning engine, transmission, brakes, tune-ups, and front end work. Another NOTEWORTHY comment concerning Larry's is the very reasonable cost he charges for their work. When i first started going to Larry's I received quotes from other shops for needed work and in each case I always found Larry to be the lowest and most reasonable. Larry's is the best car-owners friend. Larry and his staff have always been super friendly, professional, and always worked with me in getting by vehicles back in the quickest time possible. “If you are looking for an honest mechanic, this is the place to go! They were referred to us by our christian friends and we will be forever grateful. There has been three times already for that they could have charged us for something and they didn't. You just can not find this in a mechanic too often! Thank you so much for your honesty!!”

“Larry's does great work with integrity; if something doesn't go right, he'll make it right. Either Larry or his wife will be at the counter, and the mechanics who work there seem to stick around. If you wait in the office while they're doing your repairs, you may (no, really, you almost certainly will) get an earful of his politics, but also enough of his personal life to know him as a good man with, again, integrity; just with a lot of opinions with which you can feel free to disagree, for what it's worth. The office is also a great place for people watching because people from all over will go out of their way for a reliable mechanic. [A caveat: It .is. a little out of the way, so you probably don't want to try to catch a bus, but have a friend or a taxi ready for a ride.]”

When the dealership wanted to gouge us for a wiring harness replacement and installation - Larry's crew did it for next to nothing. Not only is he honest and trustworthy, we really appreciate the level of respect that he gives his customers. Larry, and all of his technicians, will take the time to explain the problem in layman's terms (without being condescending) and will give you the most conservative course of action. You never feel like he is 'selling' you on something.”

“If anyone is looking for an honest mechanic, check out Larry's Auto on 85th st. We took my wife's Equinox in because it was making a rattling noise and idling hard. He hooked it up and let us know of a little known warranty that Chevy had created for the fuel pump that was 10 yrs/120,000 miles

He then proceeded to tell us that the dealership should fix it for free but that they'll try to tell you its something else that's wrong. When we arrived at the dealership, after my wife had told them exactly what's wrong the guys notes said 'check engine light on'. So I re-explained everything that Larry had just told us.

Now Larry buys a lot of parts from said dealership, so once I mentioned his name the service consultant said that's probably what was wrong with it and they fixed it for free also throwing on a new timing belt and not charging us for labor. Good Guy Larry could have fixed the car himself and sent us home with a bill and revenue for his shop, but he did the right thing and really helped save us a lot of money. Customer for life.”
